Christchurch Cavaliers Wargames Club Presents a Lord of the Rings Ambush This September the Cavaliers Wargames Club will be running a Lord of the Rings one day competition. Date: Sunday, 28th of September 2008 Location: Shirley/St Albans club, 269 Hills Road The tournament starts at 10am and finishes by 5pm and will consist of 4 games played on the day. Each player needs to supply one painted 500 point army. Please sign up at Comics Compulsion or at the Cavaliers. Entry fee is $5. |

 Tournament FormatThe tournament will consist of 7 games played over Two days. The Swiss Chess method will be used to decide opponents. For each game, who will play evil or good will be randomly decided. Terrain will be supplied. Scoring will take into account: Painting, Army Selection and Sportsmanship. |
